In May 2024, we will make a trip to Iceland. The trip is aimed at both active divers and those who just want a brisk active vacation.
As diving destinations we have e.g. The Silfra rift, where the continental plates meet. A beautiful and unique underwater experience. Both divers and snorkelers can go here. Diving and snorkeling are done with a dry suit.

One of Iceland's diving destinations is the geothermal "pipes" of Sryta. Strýtan is the only known hydrothermal chimney of its kind that allows scuba diving. All other hydrothermal vents that have been discovered are located in the deep ocean at depths of two to six kilometers. These vents are also called "black smokers" or "white smokers" depending on the color of water they emit

In addition, the island is full of various activities; Nature tours, spas, land pools and hot springs, whale watching tours, lava cave tours, horseback riding tours, golf, hiking and trekking, glacier and glacier caving tours, bird watching, fishing, rafting tours, etc.
According to the preliminary reservation, we will stay at Centerhotel Klöpp, Reykjavik. It takes about 30 minutes to get there from the airport, and it takes about an hour to get to Silfra. It is 4.5 hours to Strytani diving site.
It's easy to go in different directions from the hotel, whether you want to go hiking, snorkelling, diving, horse riding, golfing or whatever. It must be remembered that the distances are 1h-5h depending on the activity destination.

Our group also ventures to Stokkur geysir hot springs. It is located in a geothermal area next to the Hvítá river in the southwestern part of the country, east of Reykjavík. It is one of the most famous geysers in the country, erupting regularly every 4-8 minutes to a height of up to 20 meters.

In addition, we will visit Þingvellir Nature Park , which is a natural wonder of international scale, whose geological history and the biosystem of Lake Þingvallavatn form a unique entity. There is enormous value in a place like Lake Þingvallavatn. The Þingvellir region is part of a rift that runs through Iceland, located at the boundaries of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge tectonic plates.

And to get some rest and peace during the trip, we visit the Blue Lagoon .

Finnish tour leaders and diving instructors will accompany you on the trip.
The trip can accommodate 12 people. The trip takes place when there are 8 participants.

In Iceland, diving is done with dry suits. You can dive either with the equipment of the local diving center or with your own. If you don't have a dry suit card, you must have it done before the trip and in addition about 10 dives with a dry suit. If you need a drysuit course, please contact us. In addition, e.g. Strytan must have at least an advance diving classification - buoyancy control must be good.
