Speciality - Ice diving course

Take an ice diving course when you want to do something exotic in Finnish waters. The water under the ice is clear in the winter and visibility is therefore really good.
Blow bubbles, "walk" against the ice with your head down - enjoy safe diving with an instructor and surface staff.
Who can participate?
18 years of age and at least PADI AOWD (or equivalent classification from another training organization, e.g. CMAS P2, SSI Advanced, NAUI, etc..)
In addition, we require mastery of a dry suit and sufficient diving experience in Finnish waters.

In the ice diving course, we practice skills related to ice diving.

The course includes three dives with an instructor.

You will learn the following things in practice:

Use of tools used in ice diving, such as augers and ice saws.
Safe rope work between diver and surface personnel
Communication using surface rope
Correct action in problematic situations as a diver and as a surface person.
